Shelly has 17 years of federal government experience representing the U.S. Department of the Interior in Natural Resource Damages actions, and serving as the nationwide legal coordinator for the Department of the Interior on Natural Resource Damages program policies, cases, and issues. From 1999 until 2007, Shelly served as Assistant Solicitor of the Department of Interior’s Branch of Environmental Restoration, where she was the primary Natural Resource Damages legal advisor to senior management at the Office of the Secretary of Interior, the Department of Interior Solicitor’s Office, the National Park Service, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Bureau of Indian Affairs, the Bureau of Land Management and the Bureau of Reclamation.
Shelly is originally from Texas and moved to the Seattle area in 2007.
