Conference on Natural Resource Damages, Law Seminars International: Billy Plauché will be a member of the panel for Deepwater Horizon: Assessment Status and Lessons Learned (So Far). The conference will be held January 26 – 27 in Washington, D.C.

Plauché & Stock opens an office in Lafayette, Louisiana. The office provides support to the firm’s ongoing work related to the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill, as well as expanded support for the firm’s growing maritime practice.

Laura Kisielius was appointed by Washington State Governor Christine Gregoire to serve a 4-year term on the Washington State Boundary Review Board for King County.

Laura Kisielius was invited to speak at the April and June Washington Association of Prosecuting Attorneys training programs on Shoreline Master Program updates.

George Plauché joins Plauché & Stock as Of Counsel. George is based in Plauché & Stock’s Lafayette office. George’s primary practice area is Admiralty & Maritime Law.

Billy Plauché is listed under natural resources and environmental law in the 2011 edition of Seattle Business magazine’s “Best Lawyers - The World’s Premier Guide.”

Plauché & Stock is retained to represent the State of Louisiana’s Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority and Oil Spill Coordinator’s Office on environmental issues related to the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill.
